The New Year’s Day bullfight was held at the Monumental Bullring “Rodolfo Rodriguez El Pana” in Apizaco with a little more than half of the audience and a good atmosphere in the stands. It was the Spanish rejoneador Andy Cartagena who triumphed in this mixed celebration after cutting three appendixes and the recognition of the attendees in his return to the ring.
Bulls from the García Méndez ranch were fought, among which the fifth bull was the most outstanding with slow dragging. Varied in presentation and behavior.
