Borja Ximelis, born in Palma de Mallorca in 1997, is the grandnephew of banderillero Victoriano Rodríguez. He has been a student of the bullfighting schools of Alicante and Madrid. He debuted on July 11, 2019 and the pandemic stopped his development, as happened with countless novilleros. In Mexico he appeared in the “Silverio Pérez” bullring in Texcoco on April 7, 2024, and a week later he made his debut in Madrid, precisely in the same novillada that Neyra fought, the second of the duranguense in the first bullring in the world.
