El viernes 13, regresará al Palacio del Arte, donde en enero logró un importante triunfo de cuatro orejas y un rabo. Ruedo Tres brings bullfighting back to the San Miguel Bullring in Uriangato, where the traditional Christmas Bullfight will take place on Wednesday, December 25. The lineup features rejoneador Emiliano Gamero, Juan Pablo Sánchez, and Francisco Martínez, who will face bulls from Los Cues starting at 4:30 PM. With the presence of Uriangato Mayor Juan Carlos Martínez Calderón, the event was announced by Alonso Ortega, representing the organizing company. This marks the final bullfighting event of the year. The Feria Toro company is preparing for one of the most anticipated celebrations of the bullfighting season: the Year-End Bullfight in San Miguel de Allende, Gto., at the Oriente Bullring. The event will take place on December 31, 2024, at 4:30 PM and will feature bulls from Marrón and El Vergel, along with performances by toreros Uriel Moreno «El Zapata», Guillermo Hermoso de Mendoza, and Juan Pedro Llaguno. La expectativa por la confirmación del sevillano Juan Ortega en la Plaza México dejó un sabor amargo en los aficionados, si bien su clase y arte dejó momentos inolvidables, la poca casta del ganado amargó una tarde que vino a menos.   Poco qué decir de un encierro conformado por dos hierros, Montecristo y Pozo Hondo, el primero con dos que dieron si acaso un poco más de movilidad pero en su conjunto, sin presencia, fuerza y casta.   Juan Ortega confirmó su alternativa con el toro “Sevillano” número 70 y de 482 kilos del hierro de Montecristo, el saludo capotero con Verónicas, la faena confeccionada tuvo tandas artísticas, una por naturales lenta y sentida que se hizo sentir en los tendidos; la espada estuvo bien colocada pero el astado no cayó y tuvo que descabellar. Dio vuelta al ruedo por solicitud de un sector de la plaza.   Con el segundo toro no hubo opciones, algunos intentos de construir una faena que sin materia prima no logró. Silencio.   Juan Pablo Sánchez realizó una gran faena con el cuarto de la tarde luego de haberse estrellado con un inválido segundo que se echó en los medios por la falta de fuerza. El cuarto de la tarde de nombre “Colorin Colorado” de Montecristo fue templado y lidiado de largo con tandas cortas cuidando la poca fuerza que tenía. La estocada fue lo más destacado, en todo lo alto y con efectos casi inmediatos. The Mexican Association of Bullfighting (AMT), part of the Mexican Sports Confederation (CODEME), will present the prestigious “Luchador Olmeca” Trophy to rejoneador Emiliano Gamero in recognition of his remarkable career in Mexico and abroad. Over the past two years, Gamero has excelled with campaigns in Europe, including two appearances at Las Ventas Bullring in Madrid, Spain.     Additionally, the ceremony will include the induction into the CODEME Hall of Fame, the only federated sports body in Mexico that honors bullfighting. For 2024, the inductees are matador Miguel Espinosa «Armillita chico» and breeder Raúl González González.     The proposals were submitted by Congressman Pedro Haces Barba, president of the AMT, to the CODEME committee, led by Francisco Cabezas Gutiérrez, and were unanimously approved.

La Asociación Mexicana de Tauromaquia (AMT), parte de la Confederación Deportiva Mexicana (CODEME), entregará el prestigioso trofeo “Luchador Olmeca” al rejoneador Emiliano Gamero como reconocimiento a su trayectoria en los ruedos de México y el extranjero. Este 2024, los homenajeados serán el matador Miguel Espinosa «Armillita chico» y el ganadero Raúl González González.     Las propuestas fueron presentadas por el diputado Pedro Haces Barba, presidente de la AMT, al comité de la CODEME, liderado por Francisco Cabezas Gutiérrez, y aprobadas de manera unánime.

En esta jornada se tentaron 2 vacas y se lidiaron a muerte 3 novillos de la Ganadería de La Gasca, que dieron opciones, acudieron al caballo y transmitieron.
